Tommy was a my husband of 22 years.   He was such a handsome man with a smile on his face always.   He was Dad to Dacota, 24, Dylan, 22 and Derrek, 19.  Derrek looks exactly like his dad.  Tommy was someone who was always there to listen to and help anyone.  If u told him something in confidence, you knew what you shared was safe with him as he would not speak of it to anyone.   He was not only a father to our boys, but also Brandon who is Dylan’s friend and lived with us for a time.   Tommy was a father to Brandon as he did not have one.   Along with being a father figure to many of our kids friends.   They all loved him too.   Tommy was a dancing fool until he got too sick.  He taught ballroom dancing and tried to teach me but I sucked.   I did love to dance with him though.   Tommy was always happy and rarely did I see him angry.   He was just a happy, optimistic, glass half full man.   He loved us as much as we loved him.
Tommy suffered greatly from a genetic back disease that was crippling him and also COPD in which ultimately caused his death.   Through all the pain he went through he still carried that smile and was not one to feel sorry for himself.   He was truly one of a kind.
