My husband Doug was a pastor, mechanic and had several other jobs over the years I met him in Jan 2006 and I knew I was going to marry him that night. Shortly after that, we moved in together. On May 9th, 2006 we got married in Key West, Florida due to a conference we attended so we figured we might as well get married there, we had 11 awesome years of marriage.

Then in 2017 Doug was diagnosed with cancer and given 6 months to live. My heart was broken into a million pieces, he ended up in the hospital for a few months and then was transferred to Hospice.

That was my worst nightmare come true watching him lose weight and his mind was gone, on Nov 25th, 2017 he passed away.

Every day I feel the pain of loss, He was my best friend and soulmate, and He is always on my mind, Every little memory brings it all back, I have tried to move on with another man, but still, my heart aches with so much pain.
